The Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region, Nurymbet Saktaganov, held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Management Board of Dosjan temir joly JSC, Nurlan Sak.

The main topic of the meeting was the advancement of the Ulan Transport and Logistics Complex project, which is included in the National Pool of Investment Projects and the Register of Investors.

To date, the project design and estimate documentation has been fully completed, and a positive conclusion from the state expert review has been obtained. Construction and installation works are scheduled to begin in May 2026.

During the meeting, the parties discussed practical aspects of the project implementation, including the provision of engineering infrastructure, allocation of additional land plots for potential expansion, and the creation of favorable conditions for railway sector employees.

“At this stage, the key priority is to ensure adherence to implementation timelines and to comprehensively address all organizational matters,” the Akim noted.

The Ulan Transport and Logistics Complex project is considered one of the key infrastructure development initiatives in the East Kazakhstan Region, given its role in ensuring the supply of consumer goods to the population and businesses of the region.
